Salicru has supplied various Uninterruptible Power Supply Systems (UPS) to hospitals in Spain and Portugal that have strengthened their equipment to deal with the coronavirus pandemic.
Specifically, 2 SLC Cube3+ SLCs were provided for the ICUs of the hospitals of La Vall d’Hebron in Barcelona and Doctor Josep Trueta in Girona, two public hospitals of reference in their sector.
The same SLC Cube3 + series has also been supplied to the prestigious Curry Cabral in Lisbon, a center that belongs to the Portuguese National Health Service which is a national reference in the treatment of infectious diseases.
Finally, Salicru has donated 10 UPSs from the SLC SLC Twin Pro 2 series to the Navy of Peru, to feed the first basic artificial respirators developed by an Army Research Committee to treat Covid-19 patients of this country.
Equipment for critical applications
In an exceptional situation such as the one caused by the coronavirus pandemic, Uninterruptible Power Supply Systems (UPS) are equipment that are essential to ensure power supply in such basic services as hospitals and health center.
But also for many more critical applications where it is necessary to ensure a reliable, continuous and quality electrical supply such as the facilities of electric, water and gas companies; transport and telecommunications infrastructures; financial and commercial services, security and control systems or industrial processes.
